Une bonne pratique de l'anglais est indispensable. Avoir des notions en électronique est important mais pas fondamental.

	Field Operator 
	Scope of Position 
To install, maintain, and service geophysical surveying equipment, while collecting, compiling, and archiving related survey data. You will be required to fly in a helicopter, on a daily basis for lengthy periods of time, while maintaining the onboard survey equipment. 
The position involves working and living for extended periods of time in remote locations across Africa and occasionaly Europe 
	Key Responsibilities 
Install, maintain, and service surveying equipment 
Assist in the inspection, testing, and adjustment of electronic components 
Ensure that quality standards are maintained 
Responsible for the operation of electronic equipment 
Responsible for the collection, compilation, and processing of operational data 
Must be available to travel for extended periods of time, with little notice 
 
	Basic Requirements 
 
Problem-solving and decision making skills 
Must be a critical thinker 
Excellent organizational and planning abilities 
Must be able to work effectively with others, in close confines, for extended periods of time 
Must be able to communicate in English verbally and written - another language an asset 
Will be proficient in applying basic mathematics and unit conversion 
Must be computer oriented 
Must be knowledgeable with internet applications, word processing, and spreadsheet software 
Must be able to distinguish colors and be in excellent physical condition (combination of sitting, lifting, and standing for long periods of time) 
Must be able to fly in a helicopter for extended periods of time and be willing to travel 
 
	Beneficial Assets 
 
Degree/Diploma in Electronics 
3-5 years experience operating, maintaining and troubleshooting electronic equipment
