	I don't want to over-shadow Geoforum,

But i search a good international forum about worldwide and general mineralogy (in English).

What's you advise me? I have already tried minerals forum (Jordi Fabre) but it's seems not really active...

In the north pennines, on the weardale area, they were many mines. The famous is Rogerley, with typical crystals, but there are so many localities in this region as GREENLAWS, BLACKDENE, HEIGHTS MINE, REDBURN, FRAZER'S HUSH, BOLTSBURN, CAMBOKEELS, and many more.

Arizona is noted for its desert climate, exceptionally hot summers, and mild winters, but the high country in the north features pine forests and mountain ranges with cooler weather than the lower deserts.

Arizona is one of the Four Corners states. It borders New Mexico, Utah, Nevada, California, touches Colorado, and has a 389-mile (626 km) international border with the states of Sonora and Baja California in Mexico. In addition to the Grand Canyon, many other national forests, parks, monuments, and Indian reservations are located in the state.

Because our quarries are at 7200 feet in elevation, quarrying does not begin until June. We furnish all tools, and other equipment necessary for excavating, including transportation from the Fossil Gallery to quarry.

You provide your personal amenities such as camera, glasses, and etc. . . also a mid-morning snack should you desire.

We quarry seven days a week, weather permitting leaving from the Fossil Gallery, at 9:00 a.m. unless special arrangements are made. The total length of the trip is about 3 hours.

You are allowed to recover 6 - 8 complete fish which you can easily do in the time allotted.

We suggest that layers of clothes are worn as it can be quite cool in the early morning, then turn very warm before we return.

We highly recommend wearing sunglasses, as the glare on the top of the mountain can be severe.

A rare glimpse of the cave of crystals

Mexico's Cave of Crystals stunned geologists when it was first discovered in 2000. The underground chamber contains some of the largest natural crystals ever found - some of the selenite structures have grown to more than 10m long. Professor Iain Stewart got a rare glimpse of the subterranean spectacle while filming for the new BBC series How the Earth Made Us.
